The calorie count on meats and vegetables above do not include any sauces, butter or salad dressing. If possible, avoid any sauces on meat such as A-1 steal sauce and barbecues sauce. Do not use salad dressings on salads and vegetables too.

  1. Hi Scott! If you’re doing the original protocol of the HCG diet, Pork is not included in the approved list for the VLCD (500-calorie diet). It can, however, be eaten during your loading phase.

    1. Thank you , I spoke with the Dr. that has me on this diet . She told me that pork is not on the protocol due to when this diet was founded that pork was way to fatty , but if I made sure it was very lean and fresh organic I could try it . But if it hauls weight loss to discontinue it .
      I decided to hold off on the pork till phase 3
